ARTSY and several international news services have reported the discovery of a Da Vinci sketch of Saint Sebastian, detail above. Discovered by a retired French doctor, the drawing was presented to Paris's Tajan auction house in March by a private family. It has since been authenticated by several experts who have agreed that the drawing is indeed the work of the Renaissance master, and marks the first da Vinci sketch to be authenticated since 2000. The drawing is said to have a value of $16,000,000.
