The latest 'find' in my continuing blog-saga of British artist Theyre Lee Elliott. Gazelle was on offer at the Sundridge Gallery near Sevenoaks, Kent (UK) and according to the gallery owners has just been sold.
My blogging curiosity about Theyre Lee Elliott was piqued when a reader sent me a picture of a wonderful painting by the artist that he'd bought for a song at a rummage sale. See and read about that work here.
This led to a number of readers, including relatives and friends of the late artist, contacting me with both their recollections of Theyre Lee and with samples of his work. These articles may be found here, here, here, and here.
Update: Tessa has sent a copy of this Theyre Lee Elliott poster for a pantomime performance.
