Click on the above panel so you can read it. It's the calendar for the New York City Ballet's Fall 2010 season. Of particular note is the revival of Peter Martins' THE MAGIC FLUTE which uses music of Riccardo Drigo and will have new sets designed by David Mitchell, who designed the Company's very attractive SLEEPING BEAUTY production.
THE MAGIC FLUTE was originally created for the SAB Workshop in 1981 when a very young Jock Soto (Stephen Caras photo, above) took the leading role of Luke. It later joined the Company repertoire where, due to injury of the anticipated male lead, Peter danced in his own ballet opposite Darci Kistler.
The Fall season will also feature a premiere from Benjamin Millepied and it will be great having Robbins' GLASS PIECES back in the repertoire.
It's a great season. I am so bummed I won't be here for it! *sad face*

Laura, how will you survive without NYCB? And how will NYCB survive without you?!
