I also think that Balanchine would have loved Sara Mearns (as well as Janie Taylor IMHO and Katie Morgan, IMHO.) I'd never seen Cortege Hongrois before so it was a real treat seeing it for the first time. Gwyneth Muller always seems so happy to be dancing. Who knows, maybe she is in reality tire or sore, but from our perspective she always seems to be so happy dancing a special role here or there.


I LOVED Outlier because the choreography was very unpredictable. The spacing was very abstract, yet organized.

I can't help to be excessively blushing about this, but the male principal costumes were absolutely sexy in Outlier. The costume designer was an absolute genius to let their legs bare. The lighting really accentuated their chiseled physiques. Only one sees legs like that at a ballet.

I’m sure I’m not the only who thinks that way. ; )
