Above: Carrie Imler of Pacific Northwest Ballet in George Balanchine's SERENADE photographed by Angela Sterling. The photo and this gorgeous video make me ache to see my favorite ballet again. NYCB devotees will spot Sarah Ricard Orza in the rehearsal film...
...and here she is, in SERENADE, photo by Angela Sterling.
PNB's all-Balanchine programme opens April 15th and in addition to SERENADE will feature SQUARE DANCE and THE FOUR TEMPERAMENTS. Once you've followed the "all-Balanchine programme" link, click on casting to see what we here in NYC are missing.
What a great program!!

Laura, did you look at the casting? Carla, Sarah (Ricard) and Seth are all dancing in these ballets, and William Lin-Yee is cast as the "tall" man in SERENADE.

It's definitely an amazing lineup, Philip! Seattle should be proud to have such a great company.
