Hooray! I think my slight disappoinment in the gala performance last night was because Wendy wasn't in any of the ballets!
I have a matinee ticket on the 10th.
I can't wait to see Wendy in this!

It's been a long wait to see her in BUGAKU. I'm going to both performances on 5/10.

I will be volunteering on Information Committee at the 8pm performance, so I'll get to see Wendy! Very exciting! I was also there last night for the Opening Night Gala, and it was a wonderful performance. Daniel Ulbricht got many "oohs" and "aahs" and "gasps" like he always does. The four boys in Spring were loved. I am so excited that the season is underway!

Tonight in SYMPHONY IN THREE MOVEMENTS Daniel's leaps sent murmurs of delight thru the house.

Opening night was great. It seemed to me that the company was already in mid-season form. Excellent performances throughout, with the biggest ovations going to Danny Ulbricht and Ashley Bouder in the Fall section of Four Seasons and Gina Pazcoguin for her torrid Anita in West Side Story Suite. There are some really exciting debuts and casting choices over the next few weeks - would love to be able to go every night.

Georgina Pazcoguin has certainly been radiating star quality for the past couple of seasons. There's an excerpt of her dancing the Woman in Red in RUSSIAN SEASONS now being shown on the lobby screens.

Congratulations Wendy! I think Janie Taylor would also be facinating in Bugaku.

Hi Perky, it's interesting to note that during the third week of the season Janie is now scheduled to debut in a ballet closely associated with Wendy: OPUS 19/THE DREAMER. It is great having Janie back onstage and exploring new repertoire!
