« Nine Years Ago | Main | Staying Home »

Oh that's so great that you are going! I've been getting weird about traveling too lately and I don't know what that's about because I used to love it. I bought my plane ticket for Blackpool today and it was ridiculously nerve-wracking. Of course once I'm on my way there, I see it as an adventure and can't believe I was worried about leaving. You'll be fine once you're on your way and you realize you're in for a huge adventure! And I can't wait to hear all about it!

It's been probably 40 years since I was on an airplane; I'm not afraid of flying but I really hate airports!

I too hope to make it to the Pillow this year being from Massachusetts and all. I can visit my dad and the Pillow in one nice sweet trip. Tonya posted an article that said the area was once part of the Underground Railroad and is hallowed ground. That alone is worth the trip for me.

Chimene, the house I grew up in in the tiny town of Hannibal, NY was reputed to have been a way-station in the underground railroad!
