At the end of October, Tom Gold took his Company to Cuba for two performances at the prestigious Havana International Ballet Festival. The programme opened with Balanchine's APOLLO, in which Adrian Danchig-Waring danced the title-role for the first time. Photo of Adrian above with Tiler Peck as Terpsichore.
Tiler, Abi Stafford and Amanda Hankes were Adrian's muses.
The final sunburst. The performances were greeted with standing ovations both nights.

Photographer Brian Krontz and I watched a rehearsal a couple of weeks before the Company went to Havana; it happened to be Adrian Danchig-Waring's very first rehearsal of the role of Apollo.
On Wednesday November 7th, Adrian opens at The Joyce in the MORPHOSES production of Pontus Lidberg's WITHIN {Labyrinth Within}. Details here.
