Walking up Mercer Street a couple of weeks ago with Kokyat, I realized that the scaffolding had finally come down in front of Joyce SoHo, the intimate downtown branch of the famous Joyce Theater in Chelsea. I'd never realized what the building actually looks like so I asked Kokyat to photograph it for me.
We will be heading to Joyce SoHo more often in the coming weeks, starting with the impending performances of Sundowning by the DASH Ensemble who open on December 4th, and later in the month Nicholas Andre Dance will perform there (December 17th-20th).
